Crestline Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Full remodel and addition in 2005, now 2 bedrooms, both with good queen beds, 2 bathrooms and a usable loft with a raised blow up queen for extra guests. Many just come here to relax and read or play board games. Some use it as a base for hiking, or to use Lake Gregory for swimming, fishing or kayaking. Lake Gregory offers a bowling alley, a skateboard park, a county library with free WIFI a bank and credit union. Goodwin's Market with bakery and deli so you can choose to cook or not. Fast food includes, Subway, McDonalds and Pizza. Others like to drive over to Lake Arrowhead Village and take advantage of premium outlet stores and many restaurants. In Winter you are not far from skiing, snowboarding etc. at Big Bear. The Cabin is located at 4,500 feet and does get some snow in the winter. Waters Drive is a connector between Crestline and Cedar Pines Park so is one of the first streets plowed after the highways. Easy to get to off the 210 Freeway exit Hwy 18 Waterman and go to Hwy 138 Crestline Lake Gregory Turn Off, follow signs to the Valley of Enchantment and turn left on Waters Drive.
If you are visiting from out of state and want to go to the theme parks Disneyland or Knott's Berry Farm you are about an hour and a half away. Summer temperatures average about 15 degrees cooler than the valley. This house is well insulated which keeps it comfortable with ceiling fans in the summer and gas fireplace heaters in winter. There is a nice flagstone patio in back with table and chairs and a seasonal stream in the spring, Seely Creek. The kitchen is fully equipped and refrigerator has an ice maker, there is a dishwasher and a washer and dryer available as well. Direct TV and a DVD player are also available for your down time. Come and refresh your spirits for a couple of nights in the mountains of San Bernardino.
