A very open TV room for everyone to sit. Designer furniture made to make you feel special. Everyone can chat and hang out while the chefs are cooking. The table seats 8 very easily! Enjoy this Texas reading room when you want to relax. The kitchen has everything you need. And plenty of space. Even wash your clothes with these great front loaders. The master bedroom is fit for a king so I know you will enjoy it. The master bath has two shower heads, two sinks, and a great big big closet. As usual plenty of room. We are your answer to enjoying all Austin has to offer. Located just one block from Lake Austin, this beautiful three bed room house enables you to enjoy the wonders of boat life, being walking distance to a coffee shop and restaurants, and in just 3 miles be in downtown Austin!
Our goal is to make you enjoy your stay as much possible. This 1900 sqft home has three large bedrooms including a master with a comfortable king bed and two rooms with amazing queen beds. In addition, there are two large living areas each with their own big couch. One of these couches folds out to a bed but they are both perfect anyone needing a place to sleep. We take pride in all our furnishings, beds, sheets, and artwork and we hope you enjoy every bit of them!
The kitchen is very large with all the amenities you need to cook a 7 course meal. Pots, pans, basic cooking needs, coffee pot, blender, toaster. You name it, we got it. If we don't then there is a good chance I can get it for you.
The backyard is complete with a grill, plenty of seating, and a covered deck. The front porch might be the best part of the house with a two person swing and rocking chairs helping you to enjoy your morning coffee or night time cerveza.
Once again our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. I try to help you with anything you may need. I even write a blog trying to give you a locals idea on things to do. www.youraustinweekend.com
The house is conveniently located just a block from the eastern bank of Lake Austin and right next to the Walsh Landing boat dock. Meaning there is almost no easier way to enjoy the only level set lake in Austin. (Lake Travis unfortunately has gotten shallow while Lake Austin is always the same water level). I have developed a relationship with a boat renter just 100 yards away so renting a boat has never been easier. Maybe though you own your own boat and want to take it for a spin in Lake Austin. The City of Austin conveniently has a boat parking lot across from the house, so for just $10 a day you can park your trailer and your boat. The house also has reserved residential parking that will fit your car and trailer as well.
Being on the east side of the lake is very important because you are still so close to the city via car, bike, taxi, uber, and even your feet. Zilker Park (Home of ACL), Downtown (Home of SXSW), South Congress, Burnett Road, East Side, Manor Road, and The Domain are just a few of the cool places to eat, drink, and enjoy in Austin and you can get to them in minutes!! Check it out on google. You can be anywhere in minutes. :)
But sometimes being on vacation means you want to relax and not have to go far. Lucky for you the house is just two blocks from Austin's Oyster Landing. This Austin tradition is home to three lake front dining options. Mozart's allows you to sip coffee while sitting on a lake front deck. Hula Hut gives you great Tex Mex and Margaritas at your finger tips. Lastly, Ables on the Lake has every sporting event on tv you could imagine and you get to watch them from their deck on the lake.
Now if you want a little activity, Lions Golf Course is just a few blocks away. Lions is a classic course that rings vintage Austin. Also, there is a run/bike lane that can take you directly downtown if you would like.
As a successful renter of two properties, my goal is to make your stay as great as possible.
